Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to AITalk. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of AITalk's web and mobile language learning services. By using AITalk, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Service Description

AITalk provides AI-powered language learning, speaking practice, lesson plans, text input practice, speech transcription where supported, AI feedback, text-to-speech playback, collections, and progress tracking.

Features may vary by platform, browser, device, language, region, subscription status, and third-party service availability.

Accounts

  1. Account creation

    • Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

  2. Account security

    • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs under your account.

  3. Third-party login

    • If you sign in with Google, Apple ID, or another provider, your use of that provider is also subject to its own terms and policies.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use AITalk for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing purposes.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or bypass security features of the service.
  • Upload or submit content that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
  • Use automated systems to abuse lessons, AI features, or usage limits.

Learning Content and AI Output

AITalk may generate feedback, suggestions, translations, examples, or audio through AI systems. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You should review learning feedback carefully and use your own judgment.

AITalk is an educational tool and does not guarantee a specific exam score, language level, job outcome, or learning result.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, such as text answers and practice inputs. You grant AITalk the rights needed to process that content to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content is lawful and that you have the rights needed to submit it.

Payments and Subscriptions

If paid features are offered, payment terms, renewals, cancellations, and refunds may depend on the platform where the purchase is made, including the Apple App Store or web payment providers. Additional purchase terms may apply at checkout.

Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

AITalk, including its software, design, branding, content, and related materials, is owned by AITalk or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of AITalk intellectual property to you.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to AITalk if we believe you violated these terms, created risk or legal exposure, abused the service, or used the service in a way that may harm AITalk, other users, or third parties.

Disclaimers

AITalk is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AITalk will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page. Your continued use of AITalk after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
